Alexandra Labels on Invoice Finance

Manchester Based Self Adhesive Label Manufacturer, Alexandra Labels has been a fan of invoice finance for many years, using it to grow its business. Three months ago it changed provider to small business invoice finance specialist Ashley Commercial Finance due to the poor service they were receiving from their previous financier.

Trevor Dunn, Managing Director of Alexandra Labels first got to know about Invoice Finance by speaking to other businesses. Indeed, some of the customers in his previous company were recommending it as a way to help cash-flow.

Trevor Dunn’s first port of call for Invoice Finance was his bank, which naturally recommended its own services and also gave details of other invoice finance specialists. Trevor obtained quotes from his bank and two other invoice finance companies. Trevor Dunn recalls;

“I decided not to go with the bank and the provider we chose offered a good service at first but then they had a management reorganisation which resulted in us losing both our day to day and senior contacts, who had been very helpful. The new team were less helpful and our relationship deteriorated.”

By coincidence Ashley Commercial Finance contacted Alexandra Labels just as they needed help. and within two days Ashley’s Sales Director, Ian Robins, had visited the company and talked through Alexandra’s history and requirements.

Alexandra Labels have been working with Ashley for 3 months now and have been consistently impressed with the quality of their service and professionalism. Trevor Dunn comments;

“We submit our sales invoices to Ashley and they pay us 75% immediately. They take away the hassle of chasing our customers for payment. When the debt is collected we receive the remaining 25%. The process is very straightforward and we have our own account manager for day to day contact with whom we have an excellent relationship.”
